  • Simple Syrup - for this version we are making a mint simple syrup.
  • Grapefruit Juice - I like either pink grapefruit or ruby red grapefruit, freshly squeezed!.
  • Stir 3 tablespoons infused rum, 2 tablespoons mint syrup, and 1/4 cup seltzer in a glass measure, and pour over ice. For each drink, place 2 to 3 segments in a glass.
  • Vodka - use whatever vodka you like best. Cut between membranes to release segments.
  • Add salt to the rim and you'll have yourself a Salty Dog! Either way, it's refreshing and delicious. This is one of the easiest cocktail to make with just a few simple ingredients.
